What does the term demographic mean? L02 Task 3

The term demographic is the splitting of a set population size into categories. It is commonly used in marketing with the categories A, B, C, D and E. Where E is unemployed and A is a high level job. Other examples include Area, Age, Gender, Lifestyle, Spending Power (Disposable income), Ethnicity, Education.
